Aim of role:
Assist and empower seniors to self-monitor and self-report their current well-being to their Next-Of-Kin and Lions Befrienders’ staff through IM-OK device.
Role Responsibilities:
1. To assist and attend to seniors who face technical issue with the IM-OK device
2. Promote IM-OK device to seniors, especially those who are staying alone
3. Use IM-OK device as a tool to engage with senior
4. Teach seniors how to use the features in IM-OK device
5. Customise the application features upon senior’s request
6. Conduct user survey at the end of the first month
Location:
Island-wide locations. Expected to travel
Commitment Level / Frequency:
4 home visits within 6 to 8 weeks for each senior
Requirements & Skills
• Available on weekdays or weekends (preferably day time)
• Tech-savvy
• Interested in technology
• Great inter-personal skills with an approachable personality
• Fluent in one Mother Tongue or Dialects
*New IM-OK
volunteers will have to attend a Training before commencement
