Frontier Primary: P3 to P5 School eLFs and CCA leaders took part in S-eLF L.E.S.S. B, our student leadership training programme. Primary 5 School eLFs and CCA leaders communicated effectively with the seniors from Lions Befrienders while engaging in hands-on activities.
St Francis Methodist School: In June, our students had the opportunity to take part in Lions Befrienders Flag Day fundraisers.
Korean Women’s Association in Singapore: Lions Befrienders Arts & Craft Paper Mask Colouring & Traditional Dance to “Bongsan’s Hahoe Tal”
Tan Chin Tuan Foundation: Hosted a Roundtable Discussion to identify potential gaps and hopefully foster collaborations amongst agencies from the public, private and people sectors serving the elderly in Singapore.
Dr Tan Wu Meng: Friends from across Singapore came by Clementi, as part of the Temasek 50th anniversary & community day. There were music performances and activities to bring seniors together, with Lions Befrienders folk and other well-wishers helping out too.
Clementi NPC: On 27 June, Clementi NPC was invited by Lions Befrienders to conduct a scam awareness talk for our seniors.
Temasek: In commemoration of our 50th anniversary, we joined hands with partners to uplift both people and planet at our annual Community Day, which also marks the founding of Temasek.
Temasek to give S$150 million for scholarships, upskilling & more, to mark 50th anniversary – Voluntary welfare organisation Lions Befrienders was also one of the partnering organisations for the event.
The “Micro-employment Program” at Active Ageing Centres help seniors give back to the community and stay active.
