Job Title : Volunteer Executive
 

Purpose of Position

Reporting to the Assistant Director/Divisional Director, you will oversee the Association’s volunteer pool (Recruitment, Training and Retention) & event management (planning and coordination work). You will also perform and support other administrative duties of the Division.

You should be able to work closely with both internal and external stakeholders and to multi-task in your role as a Volunteer Executive.

Responsibilities :
  • Establish and execute activities to recruit, train and retain all volunteers.
  • Plan, manage and coordinate sponsored events in the department
  • Maintain and expand network with community partners, corporates, and other social and community services organisations to support the Association through events or projects.
  • Able to perform any administrative duties assigned
Knowledge & Experience :
  • Relevant Diploma in Social Work, Gerontology, Psychology
  • Proficient in MS Word, Powerpoint and Excel
  • At least 1 year experience in volunteering on a personal level
  • Able to work with people of different demographic
  • Comfortable with public speaking
