Job Title : Deputy Executive Director 


Purpose of Position:

Reporting to the Executive Director, you are to upkeep the association’s achievement of its financial performance viability. To oversee the Fundraising and Outreach Programme and to support the Executive Director in driving organization development which includes analysis and implementation of partnerships and infrastructure needs.


  • Review and implement of SOPs to ensure proper governance in our operations by optimization of the association’s performance and compliance with legal requirements
  • Ensure the overall financial health of the Association
  • Oversee the Fundraising function of the Association
  • To instill and sustain a human capital development culture that attracts and retain people based on our diverse staff requirement
  • Work alongside ED to actively engage and strengthen the Association’s partnering organizations, committee members, volunteers and funders to help achieve its aims
  • Develop, maintain, and support a strong Management Board (MB), serve as ex-officio of each committee, seek and build MB involvement with strategic direction for ongoing operations
  • Ensure the success of all initiatives by the MB and its sub-committees, the outreach entities, and the Singapore Lions Clubs
  • Maintain a cordial and close working relationship with all the Singapore Lions Clubs

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Minimum tertiary qualifications in Business Administration/Finance or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of senior management experience, managing staff strength of more than 30 headcount
  • Strong in organizational management with ability to manage and develop high-performance teams, set and achieve strategic objectives within the association’s budget
  • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Past success working relationship with Board of Directors and the ability to cultivate existing board member relationships
  • Experience working with relevant external subsidiaries/stakeholders relating to KPI (Key Performance Indicators)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary project skills
